I actually do not have a full version of Kontakt mainly because I find it annoying, there seems to be frequent bugs/crashes with the player version, and I hate having to open Kontakt in Logic and then open another library within it vs just loading one plugin (however I’ll probably begrudgingly purchase Kontakt/Komplete Standard by the end of the year). I have Serum, Diva, Pigments, some Cherry Audio synths, EZ Drummer 3, EZ Bass, all the stock Logic stuff, and all of my guitars/amps/modelers/pedals/sims as well as some orchestral libraries (BBCSO, AR2 and HOOPUS plus a few smaller ones such as some Spitfire Originals). I would say I’m somewhere between amateur and pro (closer to amateur, it’s more than a hobby but it’s not how I make my primary income) without getting into a lot of backstory and specifics. I’ve been told that Omnisphere would be right up my alley and is an industry standard.

My passion is more for songwriting/composition vs sound design. I’m ready for a new toy (the GAS is getting the best of me again lol) and I’m feeling like it might be time to pull the trigger on Omnisphere.
